This article describes how to use the dictation function on a computer


PC

  • Open a form in Ortrac, which requires free text input
  • Press the key combination Windows + H to open the on-screen speech recognition control.
  • Active the microphone, by clicking on the microphone icon (see image)
  • Speak



Mac

  • Open a form in Ortrac, which requires free text input
  • Select the Apple-meny > System settings on computer and select Keyboard  in the side meny. (May need to scroll down)
  • Click on Dictate to the right
  • Click Active of you get a question
  • Speak
