This article describes how to view a summary of a form, with all students submission within one view, to get an idea how the form performs

Find the menu

  • Go to Courses/<course occasion>
  • Go to Forms/View summary
  • Click on a form


Summary view

Form summary menu

  1. The questions is filled with percentage numbers for each option, to view the usage of the questions. By viewing this information, you can modify the options to get a better form for the future.
  2. Comments is a link leading to all comments from the form. Open this view, the administrator can remove some improper comments.

  1. Number of submissions, within the form selected (to view another form , choose within the dropdown menu)
  2. Comments is a link leading to all comments from the form. Open this view, the administrator can remove some improper comments.
  3. The dropdown menu, default state View summary, brings you to other views for this forms:
    • View summary
    • Submit form
    • List submissions
    • Student performance

Graphical representation of tags

The right side of the screen, show graphical representations of the different types of group tags, which has been used in the form:

  • The bar chart represents tag groups which aloud the selection of multiple tags from a category
  • The cake chart represents tag groups which aloud the selection of one tag from a category

Filter functionality

If you would like to do analysis of the form responses and use tags as filter you can do the following:

Select which graphical representation of the tag group, you would like to use:

  • chart mode (cake chart icon at top of the tag group), or
  • list mode (list icon at top of the tag group) 


  • Click on a tag, or several tags, from different groups to generate a selection of data, in the form summary view

The selected tags appears at the top of the window, and can be removed, just by clicking at the remove mark


To use these filters, you man do powerful analysis, of a form, by combinations of tags. It can be used to analyse a course and the student behaviour. It is also a tool to clean up forms, removing part in the form, which not add anything to the ongoing process of the education of the student.
