TABLE OF CONTENTS

Find menu

  • Go to the Course/<course occasion>, left side menu
  • Click the Assignment/Lists menu (inside the course occasion)

Create an Assignment

  • Click on the button Create New Assignment

Public view section

This section is visible to all users, students and admin staff

Fill out the sections:

  • URL:  Students will reach this assignment at https://test.ortrac.com/file/view-assignment/164
  • Name: Name of the Assessment
  • Due date: (last date to fulfill the assignment)
  • Description: Text to describe the assignment
  • Submission form:Here´s a possibility to create a variety of components to enrich the assignment:
    • Text field (describing text)
    • Dropdown (selection from an created list)
    • File upload (the students can/must submit a file to the assignment)
    • Rich text info (a more vivid section of information, formatted text/images/links)
    • Separator (works as a marker for a new section, in the assignment)

  • Grading scaleselect from the following options (Pass/Fail, Pass/Borderline/Fail, A-F, Ungraded)
  • Grading privacy: select between Anonymous/Public

Select listed teachers at course the to evaluate the assignment.

  • Select student evaluators:
    • None
    • Assignees
    • Any student
    • Selected students (select from a list of students connected to the course)

Assignees

Two options:

  • for all students at course
  • select students from the course list

Save

Two options:

  • Save Draft (your personal working copy)
  • Publish changes (the assignment is accessible for the students)
